Some iron-grey patina dashes into the fields over underlying lemon-gold luster, and is embellished by bright luster at the edges, creating a distinctive appearance. A patch of sunset-gold over the eagle's head only adds the curious nature of this New Orleans creation, and it's the kind of appearance one is likely to love... or hate. Sharpness is about as expected for a coin from this mint - a little soft at the finer details. (PCGS# 008612)
