Lot Title:
1807 PCGS VF-20.
Description:
Sharpness is reasonably well suited to the XF grade level, especially on the obverse, while the reverse displays the weak extreme peripheral details that always characterize the dimes of 1807. Graphite-grey patina is also softly distributed across both sides and highly compatible with the grade, although neither side exhibits any luster. A couple of old pin scratches are noticeable, but are not nearly as offensive as the problems frequently associated with early small-denomination type. (PCGS# 004480)
