Lot Title:
1919-S NGC MS-64 RB.
Description:
Truth be told, the "RB" designation might seem barely applicable, with only about a quarter of the original mint red still apparent, but for sure, the surfaces are all-natural and attractive. By this point in the Lincoln cent's history, the branch mints were often producing coins with indifferent detail, and even this 1919-S has some incompleteness, though the overall strike leads to no serious complaints. There really are no perceptible contact marks, except for tiny pre-struck planchet ticks seen here and there. (PCGS# 002520)
