(About The Images)

Lot Title:
1854 Small Date. NGC AU-55.
Description:
Plenty of glinting luster emanates from between the peripheral devices, proof positive that there is very little actual wear affecting either side. In fact, the curls at Liberty's ear and the eagle's neck display only a little rub, although there are many small circulation marks strewn across the fields. The "small date" is the more common logotype, though few collectors actually distinguish between them when collecting the series. (PCGS# 008911)
