1848-D PCGS VF-20.

Description:
|
1848-D always comes weakly struck across the lower half of Liberty's portrait, and that is apparent, along with some weakness in the stars on the left. The eagle's feathers are suitably defined for VF, however. Both sides flourish two-tone color, dominated by medium gold, but accented with bronze highlights, along with crumbs of dirt here and there on either side. (PCGS# 008238)
