Scotsman Auction Company is delighted to have been selected as the auction house of choice for dispersal of a high quality, virtually complete collection of Morgan and Peace dollars, housed in two Dansco albums. Here is the first album, with coins dated 1878 through 1893-O, missing only 1893-S in the final slot. The majority of the dollars are uncirculated, with most of the remaining AU, and the vast majority overall are brilliant with blazing luster. Particularly important coins include: 1878-CC (MS-60), 1879-CC (Fine), 1880-CC (MS-63), 1881-CC (MS-63), 1882-CC, 1883-CC (MS-62), 1883-S (AU+), 1884-CC (MS-61), 1884-S (AU/dipped), 1885-CC (MS-61), 1885-S (AU+), 1886-O (AU-58, looks UNC), 1886-S (MS-61), 1889-O (AU-58, a true slider), 1889-S (AU+), 1890-CC (MS-60, a textbook example of the grade), 1891-CC (AU/cleaned), 1892-CC (AU-58), 1892-S (AU+, but with possible light artificial tone), 1893 (AU/cleaned), 1893-CC (G), and 1893-O (AU/dipped). Fifty-nine coin lot.
