(About The Images)
Complete collection of Flying Eagle (no 1856) and Indian Head cents in a Dansco 7101 album. Complete collection of Flying Eagle (no 1856) and Indian Head cents in a Dansco 7101 album.
Lot Title: Complete collection of Flying Eagle (no 1856) and Indian Head cents in a Dansco 7101 album.
Description: 1877 is in an ANACS small format holder, and perfectly graded G-4, but aside from that, all the other coins required to create a complete set of circulated Flying Eagle and Indian head cents are housed in a Dansco album, dated 1857 - 1909-S. The first page for 1857 - 1864 CN is top notch, with each coin grading VF to XF. 1864-L grades G+, but everything else on the second pages (minus 1877) has VF to AU details, with some few pieces suffering minor issues such as cleaning, questionable color, or modest corrosion. The third page from 1891 - 1909-S has several AU pieces, and everything probably grades XF or better except 1909-S, which is Fine. Needless to say, with so much of the collection upgraded, personal inspection is mandatory, but be prepared to be impressed by the level of detail expressed by most of these better small-cents. Sixty coin lot.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
