Lot Title:
1920-D PCGS XF-45.
Description:
The assigned XF-45 grade is ideal for a half-dollar with faint echoes of luster, and places the coin smack-dab into the perfect price point for most collectors, since an AU example at least doubles in cost. Liberty's central portrait lacks sharpness, which is expected of earlier Walkers like this, while peripheral areas are nicely brought up. Light champagne-grey patina layers the entire coin.
