Description:
|
An example from the single lowest mintage of this series, 47,150 pieces. Clash marks on the reverse are diagnostic, and the reverse is rotated CCW approximately 15 to 20 degrees. A small rim bruise is noted on the obverse, for descriptive reasons, at 3 o'clock. The pleasing light pewter surfaces display an impressive lilac blush. There are a few fine scratches beneath the scroll on the reverse, but they are, for the most part, not obtrusive on this nicely detailed overdate.
