Lot Title:
1904-S PCGS XF-45.
Description:
Normally, one wouldn't bother to pay for the professional grading of a circulated 1904-S Barber dime, but you can bet your booty the submitter thought he had an UNC grade all locked up. The patina is extremely attractive, ultra-crunchy and gives a dead-on accurate impersonation of classic mint-set toning. The exposed surfaces are deep battleship-grey, contrasting immensely well with thick piles of tobacco-brown patina gathered in to the protected areas of both sides. A cheap opportunity to add something memorable to one's collection! (PCGS# 004834)
