Lot Title:
1870 PCGS Genuine (AU details/cleaned).
Description:
A quick glance is all that's needed to ascertain that the pale reflectivity is not natural for a gold coin like this, considering ten points of wear. But to be fair, the appearance is far from reprehensible, and there's no doubt that time spent in a paper envelope could do some good. 1870 is not one of the common dates in the three-dollar gold series, which could make the endeavor worthwhile. There are no serious blemishes, and details of AU-50 make this an inexpensive selection for type purposes. (PCGS# 007991)
