Lot Title:
Complete set of Walking Liberty half-dollars in a Dansco 7160 album.
Description:
Typical progression of grades begins with early dates in the AG to Good range, while the second page (1923-S on) averages Fine, and the rest are generally VF/XF. What sets this collection above most is that these are practically all very original problem-free coin, the exceptions being 1943-S and 1944-S, which are both cleaned. Keys are briefly listed as follows: 1916 (G), 1916-D (AG), 1916-S (AG), 1921 (G), 1921-D (AG/rim bumps), 1921-S (G), and 1938-D (F). Set is housed in a Dansco album, including the Archival Quality Slipcase.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
