Lot Title:

Walking Liberty half-dollar set 1916 through 1940-S in a Whitman 9423 album.
|
Description:
|
As the front cover is opened up, the visual impact of a page jam-packed with fully original half-dollars can be just as enticing as that of a page full of shiny white coins. Obviously, considerable technical skill went into selection of these gorgeous, nicely circulated Walkers. Many choice pieces are highlighted by the following: 1916 (VF), 1916-D (G), 1916-S (Fair-2), 1919-S (F), 1921 (F), 1921-D (G), 1921-S (VG), and 1938-D (VG). Not a single coin grades above VF, and since these are such fully original pieces, the consistency of overall appearance is refreshing.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
