Description:
|
Numerous planchet defects populate the obverse, and there are fewer on the reverse, and all are accompanied by several darker ashy stains scattered about. These characteristics, along with the design elements, are nicely centered upon a planchet of predominantly mahogany-brown color. Dentilation is particularly strong beneath the chain mail, but even though centering slightly favors that side of the planchet, the date on the reverse is virtually completely on the flan and easily readable.
