Lot Title:
Seven Washington quarters.
Description:
Earlier dates in the Washington quarter series assure this of being a better group of white coins. Included are: 1934 (MS-63), 1934-D (AU-55), 1935-S (AU-58 but literally looks MS-65!), 1936 (AU-58), 1936-S (AU-58), 1937-S (MS-60/lightly cleaned), and 1938 (MS-60). Despite slight circulation in some cases and the caveat given 1937-S, most collectors would glance at this grouping and assume it is comprised entirely of BU pieces, since so much luster and white eye-appeal is apparent from every one. Seven coin lot.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
