Lot Title:
1908 No Motto. PCGS MS-63.
Description:
Three or four intermittent linear abrasions swipe up through Liberty's cheek, with the balance of the surfaces exceptionally clean even for the "choice" grade. Pleasing and picture-perfect khaki-gold color penetrates the fields, yet primly yields to captivating, potent whirling luster. Half a dozen shallow, horizontal bagmarks are aligned down the eagle's neck, leaving the balance of that side free from distractions. Studious bidders will note that the first seven stars are nicely doubled, and the digits in the date are perhaps strike doubled as well.

Accurately graded example that is probably maxed out at the MS-61 level. It is a little soft on the reverse, but the golden glow is appealing, and there are no major imperfections. On second... |

A lustrous Indian with minimal marks for the grade. If the detail were a bit more defined, the grade would have likely been higher. |
