Lot Title:
1907-D PCGS MS-64.
Description:
Formidable alliance of technical excellence and an intriguing appearance brings out the appealing nature of this 1907-D quarter, graded MS-64 by PCGS. The obverse is draped in swaths of evergreen tone and embellished in areas with autumn gold colors, while the reverse is widely splashed with indigo-green iridescence. Profuse luster prowls beneath the tone, swirling with gem presence and casting bright illumination on the seasonal colors. Indeed, with such a sharp strike, a gem grade had to have been under serious consideration, turned away perhaps by a pair of lengthy contact marks at the truncation of the bust.
