(About The Images)
1918 PCGS MS-63. 1918 PCGS MS-63.
Lot Title: 1918 PCGS MS-63.
Description: By no means is 1918 a scarce date in the Walking Liberty half-dollar series, but any of the early issues in BU grades are difficult to locate "nice". This coin displays fine satiny luster that has a generally clean appearance, with a few marks only in the obverse right field, and these are surely what determined the grade. Sharpness is better than expected even at the center of each side, since Liberty's hand and the eagle's breast feathers have solid presence.
Low Estimate: $600.00
High Estimate: $725.00

736The Collectors' Auction - 2014 on 10/17/2014$600.00
1918 NGC MS-61, and a 1939 PCGS MS-65+.
Brock Megran Collection. Resubmission of the 1918 could generate a one point upgrade, but the minor gain in value might not be worth the effort. Suffice it to say it's a fairly pleasing ivory-white...
864The Midwest Summer Sale on 07/26/2013$650.00
1918 and 1929-D, both NGC AU-58.
Mike Wrinkle Collection. AU-58 is as close as a grade can get to mint-state, and for sure, these look like "unc" half-dollars. 1918 emits blazing white luster and requires use of a loupe to locate...
528The Collectors' Auction 2010 on 10/15/2010$1,000.00
1918 PCGS MS-64.
Exceptional sharpness reveals part of Liberty's extended forefinger, and the eagle's breast feathers are nicely separated from each other. Luster is particularly pretty on the reverse, while the...
692The Midwest Winter Sale 2009 on 02/13/2009$925.00
1918 PCGS MS-64.
Exuberant mint luster proclaims the allure of this near-gem, and from the standpoint of production, few faults are apparent. Details are bold everywhere, including a superbly detailed thumb. A short...
619The Midwest Winter Sale on 02/17/2006$925.00
1918 PCGS MS-64.
This example's mattelike aspect emits an ere of delicacy from its lustrous surfaces, which are further enhanced by subtle golden nuances. A few inconspicuous marks are congruous with this assigned...
