1926-S MS-63 BN/questionable color/damaged.

In mint-state grades, 1926-S has acquired rightful reputation as one of the semi-keys to the Lincoln series. Plenty of luster accompanies this fully brown example, and persistent inspection will find the tiniest fragments of mint red here and there. Sadly, about a dozen sharp scrapes affect Lincoln's upper portrait, and there are several tiny digs beneath "LIBERTY", these aggregate problems prompting the "damaged" disclaimer in the grade.

This Wheat Cent is more Red than Brown. It is nicely struck and problem free. This little beauty is well deserving of the grade. |
