Lot Title:
1929-S PCGS MS-65RD (green label).
Description:
Brash red color is most vibrant on the obverse, and a bit more subdued toward the upper left side of the reverse. Overall definition is about usual for San Francisco coins of the era, with practically unstruck portions of the planchet still showing tiny "chicken scratch" abrasions on Lincoln's portrait. Housed in a PCGS green-label holder.

1929-S NGC MS-63 RD, and a 1931 NGC MS-66 RD.
1929-S shows off exceptionally nice luster for only the MS-63 (RD) grade. Full, blazing original red color shows no evidence of "help" and the reverse benefits from tasteful wintergreen iridescence... |
