(About The Images)
1917 NGC MS-66. 1917 NGC MS-66.
Lot Title: 1917 NGC MS-66.
Description: Pleasing apricot-gold patina embellishes the finely struck details on each side with original character, yet permits underlying luster to shine through unrestrained. Philadelphia nickels struck in the teens are not usually prone to weak detail anyway, but this one is particularly sharp, and even the end of the bison's tail is completely delineated. A single, tiny tick at the back of the Indian's jaw is likely the primary grade determinant.
Low Estimate: $390.00
High Estimate: $475.00
