Fabulous toning has been delivered to a number of coins in this finer Jefferson nickel set, though it is interesting that some of the best color is to be found on circulated pieces. The majority of the coins are BU. The coins that offer the best combination of grade and gorgeous album tone include: 1938-D, 1939-D, 1946-S, 1947, 1949-D, 1949-S, 1951-D, 1952, 1953, 1953-S, 1954, 1954-S, 1955, 1955-D, and 1957. Nicely toned later pieces include the 1989-S and 1991-P.
