Description:

Profuse canary-gold luster and a few minor ticks are easily compatible with the AU grade level, while a fairly minor scratch can be seen left of Liberty's neck. 1850-O is one of the more readily available early New Orleans quarter-eagles, and this one has a soft reverse strike, typical of gold issues from that mint and era.
