Lot Title:
Ten Seated Liberty half-dollars.
Description:
Common Seated Liberty half-dollars make up this lot, but they are exquisite, original pieces with marvelously layered patina. Included are: 1854 (MS-60 but remarkably appealing), 1854-O (AU-50), 1858 (AU-50), 1858-O (XF-45), 1859 (AU-50), 1875 (XF-45), 1876 (AU-55), 1876-S (XF-40), 1877 (XF-40), and 1877-S (AU-50, strike doubled reverse). Every single one of these halves possesses exceptional, exceptional vintage appeal, having never been cleaned or molested in any way. Simply delightful quality in this ten coin lot from the Tabasco Sauce collection.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
