Lot Title:
Eleven three-cent pieces and two twenty-cent pieces in a Dansco 6109 album.
Description:
Details for the three-cent silver coins seem to fall in the VF to XF range overall, while the twenty-cent coins are about a grade higher than that. Dates for the small coins are listed as: 1851, 1852, 1853 (whizzed), 1854, 1856, 1857, 1858 (cleaned), 1859 (lightly cleaned), 1860, 1861, and 1862. The twenty-cent coins include 1875 (XF/cleaned), and 1875-S(AU/polished). Except where problems are noted, the coins face up as decent representatives.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
