Lot Title:
1944-S PCGS MS-66.
Description:
By 1944, San Francisco still had not completely solved its strike problems of the half-dollar coin, though steps clearly had been made to improve over the disastrous strikes of 1941-S. This very-gem coin displays modest weakness at the central areas, but features superb luster and a pleasant touch of sunset-gold arcing above Liberty's head.
