(About The Images)
1852 PCGS MS-64BN. 1852 PCGS MS-64BN.
Lot Title: 1852 PCGS MS-64BN.
Description: Very nearly 20% of the original mint red remains on each side, flickering nicely from between the protected recessed areas of the devices. Details are a little soft due to die erosion, although each star still manages to display full sharpness at the centers. Die cracks confirm extended use of the dies. Flecks of carbon adorn the edges of Liberty's portrait, and there are essentially no contact marks of consequence.
Low Estimate: $360.00
High Estimate: $400.00

223The Midwest Summer Sale 2012 on 07/27/2012$600.00
1852 PCGS MS-65BN CAC.
A sharp, stable and rock-solid commercial MS-65, surfaces exhibit lovely, satiny copper-brown texture especially in the fields. Almost all the stars are well struck, except for a very flat center for...
176The Midwest Winter Sale on 02/12/2010$270.00
1852 NGC MS-64 BN.
Distinctive blurring of details, particularly at the peripheral areas, suggests a well worn die, and the cartwheel luster is strongly influenced by extensive flowline erosion on both sides. ...
177The Midwest Winter Sale on 02/12/2010$210.00
1852 PCGS MS-63 BN.
An oblong carbon area on the left side of the obverse provides the primary distraction. Even sienna-brown patina provides the eye appeal.
178The Midwest Winter Sale on 02/12/2010$475.00
1852 PCGS MS-62BN.
The glossy obverse surface may have been carefully recolored, which would explain a lack of "pop" that led to the PCGS MS-62BN grade.
253The Collectors' Auction 2007 on 10/19/2007$525.00
1852 N-6 NGC MS-65 BN.
Navy blue undertones lurk around the devices beneath the deep brown patina that predominates across each side. The diagnostic die lines below Liberty’s eye and earlobe are sharp. EAC-55.
294The Midwest Summer Sale 2007 on 07/27/2007$825.00
1852 PCGS MS-65RB.
This is a perfect, old fashioned RB. That means a coin light in color, with considerable remaining mint red. It means much luster remains on the surfaces of this well-struck cent. The absence of...
275The Midwest Summer Sale 2006 on 07/21/2006$450.00
1852 ANACS MS-64 RB.
A splendid specimen with most of the mint red still intact. A few specks and ticks are noticed utilizing a glass, and are thus noted for accuracy on this sharp strike.
