Lot Title:
1847-C NGC AG-3.
Description:
Collectors that appreciate the humble appeal of heavily worn, well used and extremely original coins will instantly fall in love with this Charlotte piece. Extensive circulation has effaced nearly all details, though LIBERTY is surprisingly still readable, and the date and mintmark are both bold. The left obverse rim shows limited presence and is virtually worn into the stars, while the reverse rim merges with peripheral lettering entirely. A mustard-grey coin that provides an immense level of "coolness factor" satisfaction!
