Lot Title:
1891 PCGS MS-64.
Description:
Shimmering brushed-aluminum obverse luster is paired with an album-toned reverse to produce a coin with something of a split personality. Those colors on the reverse are highly reminiscent of gushing water tones, featuring a full complement of aqua-green and ocean-blue that compete for dominance throughout much of that side, surrounding an inner area of defiant earth tones that refuse to be drowned out by the surrounding palette. The obverse displays a nicely clashed die, and also a scattering of minor ticks that account for the grade.

Glistening specimen accentuated by its creamy white surfaces. It exhibits minute ticks, some faint hairlines, and a few interesting die breaks on either side of this rather well-detailed issue. |
