Lot Title:
Nearly complete set of circulated Barber quarters in a Dansco 7130 album.
Description:
Most important keys are missing from this Dansco album of Barber quarters, including 1893-S, 1896-S, 1897-O. 1899-S, 1901-S, 1901-S, 1913-S, and 1914-S, though the 1896-S is an excellent G-4 coin and is far and away the most valuable coin present. While most of the other coins are original, not many display a full LIBERTY, except for generally more common issues. Without question, bids will hinge on the desirability of the 1896-S, but shrewd bidders may find some upgrade potential elsewhere in the album. Additional coins of note include: 1892-S (VG-10), 1908-O (XF-40), and 1910-D (F-12).
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
