Lot Title:
1904 NGC PF-64.
Description:
Luscious, refreshing aqua-blue and indigo tone pools around Liberty's portrait, providing a delightful watery backdrop for Barber's artistic vision, while the reverse has prominent silvery-vermilion undertones. Though struck with minimal cameo contrast, as proofs of the 1903-1916 era were wont to be, modest frosty texture is noticeable on the primary devices.
