Lot Title:
1824/2 (B-1, R-3) PCGS VG-8.
Description:
Some consideration should be given a VG-10 grade, since LIBERTY is fully readable and E PLURIBUS UNUM nearly so. Earth tones modulate the overall appearance with an equitable portion of ruddy-tan color on the devices, contrasting well against dusky grey fields. Denitilation is unfailingly complete around both sides, though the slab insert annoying intrudes on its visibility in some areas. Blemishes are limited to a handful of short circulation scratches scattered about the obverse periphery, and a couple more crisscrossing between eagle's talons.
