(About The Images)
1917-S Obverse. PCGS MS-64. 1917-S Obverse. PCGS MS-64.
Lot Title: 1917-S Obverse. PCGS MS-64.
Description: Billowing satiny luster revolves about multiple axes on both sides, providing unique surface texture that is much different from typical cartwheel effect. Fairly well struck for an early Walker, with most of the central hand details visible, along with finely delineated skirt lines and rather finely crafted feathers on the reverse. Though predominantly platinum-grey in appearance, some soft rosy tone descends from all the margins, framing the central devices very nicely. The defining mark for grade consideration appears directly on Liberty's neck, beyond which this is an untroubled coin.
