976The Collectors' Auction 2012 on 10/05/2012$1,700.00
1884-S PCGS AU-55.
The mintmark is nearly a blob on the reverse, being mostly filled in as-struck. Plenty of luster zooms around lightly worn patches in the field, affirming the strong AU grade.
578The Collectors' Auction 2011 on 10/21/2011$1,900.00
1884-S PCGS MS-62.

1152The Midwest Summer Sale 2010 on 07/23/2010$1,250.00
1884-S ANACS MS-60.
Hairlines swipe across the lower obverse right field and hold the grade back to MS-60. The obverse strike is very sharp, however.
1153The Midwest Summer Sale 2010 on 07/23/2010$10,750.00
1884-S PCGS MS-64.
It is only after 1893 that the Liberty double-eagle series becomes most often represented by "common" dates. Especially in the upper mint-state grades, most issues of 1893 and prior are scarce at...
456The Collector's Auction on 10/20/2006$950.00
1884-S PCGS MS-62.
This captivating San Francisco issue emanates a vibrant radiance from velvetlike surfaces. The observed surface marks are congruent for the grade, and the strike is rather significant.
