(About The Images)
1818 (O-106, R.3), 1821 (O-103, R.2) and 1822, 2 over 1 (O-101, R.1). 1818 (O-106, R.3), 1821 (O-103, R.2) and 1822, 2 over 1 (O-101, R.1).
Lot Title: 1818 (O-106, R.3), 1821 (O-103, R.2) and 1822, 2 over 1 (O-101, R.1).
Description: A trio of lustrous and attractive capped bust half-dollars, including: 1818 O-106 (AU-55/bent), 1821 O-103 (XF-45), and 1822/1 O-101 (AU-50). Conservative graders may find these coins to be somewhat pale for their age, particularly the final coin, which is bright white, but your cataloger feels the assigned grades are fair given present market grading conditions. The 1818 received some sort of obverse impact that dished the coin, but it was subsequently straightened and is surprisingly decent for appearance. Three coin lot.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
