1030The Collectors' Auction 2013 on 10/18/2013$500.00
1849-O NGC AU-58.
Somewhat flatly struck, although that is commonly the case for this inaugural New Orleans issue. While not rare by any means, the 1849-O holds great popularity as a readily accessible branch-mint...
1031The Collectors' Auction 2013 on 10/18/2013$925.00
1849-O PCGS MS-61.
Notoriety for weakly struck coins isn't all that evident here, as this New Orleans gold dollar actually exhibits favorable sharpness overall. Trivial softness appears over some hair curls. One...
1048The Midwest Summer Sale on 07/26/2013$1,350.00
1849-O NGC MS-62.
The open wreath is the only reverse for 1849-O, a very popular coin for New Orleans collectors. Brassy patina dominates the aesthetics for this example, especially as it offers only a very weak...
268The Collector's Auction on 10/20/2006$775.00
1849-O NGC MS-61.
Here we have a very interesting Gold Dollar with minimal marks and a strong strike. The luster is lacking a bit around the central parts of the coin.
