Lot Title:
Seven San Francisco Liberty Head Double Eagles.
Description:
Twentieth century Cornet double-eagles are relatively common even in higher grades, and this lot of seven consists of all different dates from that mint, each graded MS-63. 1900-S, 1901-S, 1902-S, 1904-S, 1906-S and 1907-S are all graded by PCGS, with the 1903-S the lone NGC representative. Interestingly, the 1903-S seems to be the nicest of the seven coins for the grade, though the 1904-S in a green label holder might challenge that notion. Seven coin lot.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
