Lot Title:
1929-S NGC MS-64.
Description:
Surprisingly, the 1929-S is one of the branch mint Walking Liberty half-dollars that can be found well produced, as evidenced by the present example. Splendid satin luster beams readily off each side, unimpeded by heavy toning or surface issues. Lavender and cola-brown tone dapples the edges, accentuating the quality of this near-gem piece.

Wholly original and extremely clean. Like many of the earlier dates in this series, it is quite a challenge to find a 1929-S in such a preserved state. The obverse surfaces show a little haziness,... |
