(About The Images)
1920 Maine. NGC MS-64. 1920 Maine. NGC MS-64.
Lot Title: 1920 Maine. NGC MS-64.
Description: Two words come to mind when looking at this coin: "Holy Cow, this is one awesome coin!" Okay, okay, I know. That was seven words, but I don't care. The coin is an absolute bombshell. The obverse is covered by plum colored toning. The reverse has peripheral tones of plum, turquoise, and magenta. There are some marks on the reverse, but they are compliant with the grade. This really is a special coin that deserves much consideration.

1920 Maine MS-60/cleaned, 1921 Missouri 2x4 AU, and 1936 Long Island...
Only light hairlines crisscross back and forth beneath some nice patina, but there are just too many of them to justify a problem-free grade, hence the MS-60/cleaned assessment. The Missouri is...

1252The Midwest Summer Sale 2007 on 07/27/2007$390.00
1920 Maine. PCGS MS-63.
One hundred percent of this coin is covered with acutely attractive tones of dark violet, blue, magenta, green, yellow, and rose. Beneath all that toning lies clean fields and crisp devices.
1253The Midwest Summer Sale 2007 on 07/27/2007$310.00
1920 Maine. NGC MS-65.
Lustrous surfaces that reflect a soft reddish pink hue. A scattering of darker natural tones are also observed. The reverse wreath detail is strong, and the marks are few and far between.

1920 Maine. NGC MS-64.
Rainbow tones of magenta, green, yellow, violet, turquoise, gold, and russet adorn the peripheries of both the obverse and reverse. The devices are sharply struck, and the fields are very clean.
