An 1839 half-dime graded NGC MS-63 is accompanied by an 1862 half-dime graded NGC MS-64, and both are lustrous coins. Conscientious description of the 1839 requires mention of an obverse scratch that is questionable for the "choice" level, but the 1862 is a legitimate near-gem coin. Two coin lot.
