Lemon-gold mint luster glints with reflectivity from between the stars, and the reverse has noticeable prooflike effect. An elongated die lump right of the first star may aid attribution. "7" in the date dwarfs the other digits and "8" touches the bust, leading to attribution as BD-2, R.5. Finely abraded on both sides, which mitigates the reflectivity of the fields. Two parallel diagonal hairline scratches in front of the forehead. superficial scrape below eagle's left (observed) wing.
