(About The Images)
1922 Grant. NGC MS-65. 1922 Grant. NGC MS-65.
Lot Title: 1922 Grant. NGC MS-65.
Description: This is a highly attractive gem Grant, with amazingly original surfaces that are above reproach. Lovely mint luster smolders from the fields, overlaid with a delightful patina of peach-orange and pecan-tan toning, highly reminiscent of that from cardboard mint sets. The patina offers the added benefit of obscuring any potential post mint blemishes, but the only handling marks of any note are a couple of small instances on General Grant's portrait. Astute observers will note significant doubling of the reverse lettering, especially E PLURIBUS UNUM. From the R. Lanno Collection.
Low Estimate: $475.00
High Estimate: $550.00
Lot Status: Bidding has been closed for this lot.
