Lot Title:
1942-D, 1943-S, 1945-D and 1947-D Walking Liberty half-dollars. NGC MS-65.
Description:
NGC has graded each of the Walking Liberty half-dollars in this lot as MS-65, and that consistency derives at least in part from the fact that they were in the same Whitman album together. Included are 1942-D, 1943-S, 1945-D and 1947-D. The 1943-D is typically struck for this issue, which is to say - not all that well. Four coin lot.

This is a tough variety. There are very few over mint marks in all of numismatics, and only one in the Walking Liberty Half Dollar series. The S shows much better than most overmintmarks. The... |
