(About The Images)
1870 and 1873, Closed 3, PCGS PF-64. 1870 and 1873, Closed 3, PCGS PF-64.
Lot Title: 1870 and 1873, Closed 3, PCGS PF-64.
Description: Reflectivity is diminished a little by a nearly sheer film of patina that has settled across each side of the 1870, and an occasional blemish can be found with a glass. The 1873 is similarly patinated, but not nearly as well struck. In fact, your cataloger must call into question the PCGS attribution of this coin as a proof, despite correct designation as "closed 3" - the only logotype used to strike them. Both coins are graded PR-64 by PCGS. Two coin lot.
