Lot Title:

1938 Proof Set. PCGS
Description:
PCGS has certified all five members of this lovely 1938 proof set, with the half-dollar graded PR-64, the cent graded PR-64 RD, and the nickel, dime and quarter all graded PR-66. Though appropriately not designated as such, the half-dollar features attractive cameo effect on both sides, and frictional hairlines in the lower left obverse area are all that bar a higher grade. The Lincoln cent certainly appears as a gem, perhaps a couple of carbon spots in the right obverse fields away from that grade. Five coin lot.
