Description:

Philadelphia mintages for quarters and half-dollars through the 1880s era were very low, yet the present lot contains most of the half-dollars for that timeframe. The coins are cataloged as follows: 1880 (F-15), 1881 (F-12), 1882 (VG-10), 1884 (VG-8), 1885 (F-12, dipped), 1886 (VF-25), 1887 (G-4, cleaned), 1888 (VF-20, dipped), 1890 (VF-20), and 1891 (XF-40, planchet flaws). Ten coin lot.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC.
