Lot Title:
1906-S Barber half-dollar, NGC MS-64
Description:
This coin shimmers with white mint luster and color that is only half a shade off white. Although the price differential between MS-64 and MS-65 is surprisingly small, there doesn't seem to be much that bars this coin from upgrade consideration. The cheek is free of any obvious deficiencies, though at certain angles, a handful of the most trivial slide marks imaginable do appear. Overall, the surfaces are remarkably clean and absent any distractions.

This San Francisco Branch Mint issue gleams with a golden rose iridescence. An array of die striations, and some very minute ticks, are observed on Liberty's profile when employing a strong glass. ... |
