Lot Title:
1955 "doubled die" Lincoln cent, NGC MS-64 BN
Description:
A marvelous array of neon blue tones glow prominently from the devices of this alluring Lincoln cent variety, complemented very nicely by smoldering embers of original mint red around the peripheries. The contrast between the cool, blue tones and the hot red colors is fantastic, yielding a coin of unsurpassable eye appeal - unusual for this doubled-die issue that is usually not that attractive. Luster is outstanding as well, and it is just the presence of tiny bagmarks that limit the technical grade and prevent this coin from being a full-blown color-bound monster!
