(About The Images)
Fifteen Silver Proof Sets 1950-1964. Fifteen Silver Proof Sets 1950-1964.
Lot Title: Fifteen Silver Proof Sets 1950-1964.
Description: All fifteen sets in Two Capital plastic holders. All sets are original and consigned by the original purchaser. The 1950 set is super nice with a light cameo Half. The 1951 set has a light cameo Half and Quarter. The 1952 Half has a nice cameo on both sides. The Quarter is a WDDR-002 which is doubled at the motto and shows the diagnostic lint mark between the legs. The 1953 Half has a strong cameo on both sides. The 1954 set has a strong cameo Cent. The 1955 Half sports a strong cameo contrast. The 1956 Quarter shows decent contrast. There are several other cameo coins in the latter sets. We have not offered a group of Proof sets with this many premium coins in quite a while, and I am sure it will be quite a while before we offer another.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
