1935-D ICG MS-62, 1936-S XF-45, and 1937-D ICG MS-64. 1935-D ICG MS-62, 1936-S XF-45, and 1937-D ICG MS-64.
Lot Title: 1935-D ICG MS-62, 1936-S XF-45, and 1937-D ICG MS-64.
Description: Two of these coins are Walking Liberty half dollars certified by ICG as follows: 1935-D MS-62 and 1937-D MS-64. The grades seem accurate, and possibly conservative in the case of the 1935-D. Also included is an uncertified 1936-S that grades XF-45.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.

605The Collectors' Auction 2012 on 10/05/2012$210.00
1935-D PCGS MS-63.
Bud's Walker Duplicates. The consignor twice upgraded this date, as he began to show preference for toned coins. Here is a billowing white example with only delicate apricot tones approaching the...
606The Collectors' Auction 2012 on 10/05/2012$330.00
1935-D NGC MS-64.
Bud's Walker Duplicates. Splashes of graphite-grey dapple down into the obverse fields, while the reverse remains steadfast and brilliant white. Decently struck, only Liberty's hand and a few belly...
842The Collectors' Auction 2011 on 10/21/2011$1,450.00
1935-D PCGS MS-65.
Gleaming silver-white for the most part, there is some platinum-tan coloration lying atop the devices here and there, well accented by potent luster. Liberty's hand is nearly outlined, with details...
843The Collectors' Auction 2011 on 10/21/2011$390.00
1935-D PCGS MS-63.
Platinum-tan color streaks across the surface in some areas in contrast with bright white underlying luster.
503The Midwest Winter Sale on 02/12/2010$1,250.00
1935-D PCGS MS-65.
Ashy-gold accents mottle the reverse and splash occasionally across the obverse, especially in the right field and on the rim near the motto. Denver had not quite achieved the production excellence...
1149The Collector's Auction on 10/20/2006$2,000.00
1935-D PCGS MS-65.
A wonderful Denver Mint example that is unusually well struck and seldom seen in such a high Gem grade. It shows an ideal amount of luster and only scattered nicks, including one at around 3:30 on...
631The Midwest Winter Sale on 02/17/2006$290.00
1935-D NGC MS-64.
Frosty white surfaces with loads of luster. The reverse conditionally appears to be of MS-65+ quality, but the contact nicks on the obverse make for an overall solid MS-64.
